Dive offshore reefs and wrecks, waterski the Intracoastal, fish for deep-sea trophies or paddle through an enchanting cypress forest on the Loxahatchee River. Hobe Sound Beach, Hutchinson Island, Dubois Park and Carlin Park offer lifequard services and picnic areas on some of the best beaches in Florida. The Hobe Sound National Wildlife Center has a beautiful secluded beach area that is a popular nesting sight for sea turtles. The average water temperature is a comfortable 78 degrees. The average winter temperature is 71 degrees and the summer average is 84 degrees.

The Treasure Coast is a golfers' mecca because of the numerous country club communities built around courses designed by Palmer, Nicklaus, Player, Dye, Fazio, and other golf greats. These outstanding facilities attract many of our new residents. I addition to private courses there are many fine public golf courses.

Within a few minutes drive, you'll find a wide variety of shopping opportunities from quaint shops, specialty stores and boutiques to regional malls to Palm Beach's famous Worth Avenue with world renowned stores.
